Cuddle Pop - Deep Yellow Sign

Label: Edition 59 Records
Format: CDS
Charming indie pop on second EP from Indonesian outfit, Cuddle Pop

Review

Cuddle Pop come from Bandung in Indonesia. Their second EP, which like its predecessor, has been released on German micro-label Edition 59 Records opens with 'Deep Yellow Sign'. It is a full-on jangly pop humber played very fast and with a joyous vocal from front man Bibo Shafwan. 'Finally the Rain Is Over' is much slower played, but like its predecessor elegant and totally charming. 'The Day Come Lately' is twee pop of the C-86 variety, a song to hold hands and dream too. Excellent.
