Omerta - One More Minute

Label: Omerta
Format: CDS
Fantastic third single from Omerta, who sound like the genius offspring of Interpol and fellow Manc heroes, Puressence

Review

This, the third great single from Omerta, follows much the same path as previous minor classics, ‘Everyone Is Frozen’ and ‘One Chance’, as it builds like the genius offspring of Interpol and fellow Manc heroes, Puressence. The chorus of “Stop right there for one more minute. I’m not sure that I want in it’ will enter your head and only leave it after establishing squatter rights. ‘Follow Me Down’ is equally engaging and one can only marvel at the strength of their forthcoming debut LP if they can afford to let such gems as this slip out as a mere B side. I’ve no idea what ‘Omerta’ means, but with songs this good, it really doesn’t matter.

Track Listing:-

1 One More Minute
2 Follow Me Down
3 Isolated
