Joshua - Teardrop Trio

Label: Boss Tuneage
Format: CD
"Sincere " offering from post hardcore outfit who have somehow ended up "sounding like the Cure."

Review

Sincere US vocals over a post hardcore backdrop that somehow ends up sounding like the Cure. Could it be the guitar or the cheesy synth that has caused this potentially horrific mutation ? Joshua are the type of band that would have been snapped up by Interscope during the Pearl Jam/Nirvana/Smashing Pumpkins decade but it's not the nineties anymore, and the singer makes Michael Stipe sound like GG Allin. This is okay though actually and you just know that all the members of the band would be "cool" to "hang out" with, but come on boys drop the synths!!!!!!

Track Listing:-

1 When Love Requires
2 This Past September
3 Bruise Your Vanity
