Keith Ainsworth photographs Marc Almond at a show at Warringon Parr Hall on his latest UK tour

With a musical career that extends back over thirty-five years, Marc Almond has recorded twenty five studio albums, five with his original band Soft Cell, two with his offshoot project Marc and the Mambas and eighteen in his solo career. In March he released a new compilation 'Hits and Pieces' which compiles together some of his best work with Soft Cell and Marc Almond and played a five date UK tour, taking in shows in London, Perth, York, Buxton and Warrington.on the 28th March These photographs were taken by Keith Ainsworth for Pennyblackmusic on the last date of the tour on the 28th March at Warrington Parr Hall, and capture some of Marc Almond's flamboyance and diversity on stage.
