Drummer soldier boys Tambour Battant from Nantes have exercised the routine, perfected the beats and in one unsuspected flow went on whopping about. The main track off his their Expressillon single, 'On The Ground', blends house music with bright breakbeats. It is if the sounds of Basement Jaxx and Daft Punk have been melted into one big dance anthem and are readily heading for the ahead summer.
The ´Handz Up´ flip side though will dictate DJ sets all throughout this summer. Its finger clicking and nasty, tasty percussion will set off the masses in the sunniest frenzy imaginable and, when the beats drop, there´ll be no rescue. Kid606 isn't dead, he just smells French. The kick-ass quality is so very close to the Kid's that both Tambour Battant and Kid606 deserve honourable mentions.
