It is not a recognized style yet, but this is wrecktronica. A blim kill 'em, bloody good bootie woody album. Wonderful wrongy wrong wrought wrecklessness which sums up game battle sounds, as if harpsichord happiness is just around the corner. 'Emblem Album' provides a whopping washing of the ears. Splendid for its both it sense of adventure and use of electronica, 'Emblem Album' nonetheless is no concept album. The Chris & Cosey-styled 'Cromis 1 + 2' kicks off this zigzag zany excursion into electronically manipulated sounds. 'Emblem Album' is coherent though, as the sounds exclusively emerge from computers and synthesizers, and these instruments comprise an orchestre in dubio.
In dubio duplo, one tends to think, since this rather diabolic diagnostic record bears all of the symptoms of an ongoing battle of digital software engaged in a fight against the low riders of the underworld. The track sequence on the album works almost like a symphony in disguise. The mighty apothesis, however, comes quite early on with the chaotic 'Harpsifloored'.
