Lookup:
Debuting Birmingham trio Hot Red Dress play rock almost like a modern kind of blues rock.
Singer Kat Howell carries the weight of the songs but she has written none. Guitarist Keith Rimell wrote the bulk of the tracks, and drummer Rob Peach produced the CD. It's her robust vocals that save the album from a certain tedium.
Probably sounds best driving on the motorway.
