Another contribution to the rapidly growing "tales of a night out" genre, ‘How It All Went Wrong" rushes though its tale of falling out with old friends and in with new ones with aplomb. Although some of the vocals can occasionally sound like someone doing an impersonation of your dad the musical rollicking fairground-fun tune underneath carries it successfully though.
It’s quite possible to imagine this as the soundtrack to an old-fashioned chase scene in a 90’s tribute movie – 'Carry On in Camden', perhaps. At some points you can almost hear the band laughing at themselves.
In fact this song is good enough to distract you from the fact that Les Incompetents have rhymed "brandy" and "Andy". Which means it must be pretty good.
