Lookup:
An interesting release from Kitty Yo that improves with each listen.
Ambient led techno with a melancholic edge, reminiscent of calmer Aphex Twin ('Mofa') or early 'Frequencies' era LFO ('Temporaries') , but which is reliant more on "song" structures than creating a space.
Elsewhere as on 'Fadenseiden; a more experimental edge comes too the fore that sets 'Filesharing' apart from other mundane releases of this type.
Whilst slightly one paced with somewhat monotone vocals the invention within this release more than compensates for these shortcomings.
Track Listing:
01) Mofa
02) Temporaries
03) Wortspur
04) Neulich
05) Reichlicher
06) Getriebe
07) Morgen
08) Fadenseiden
09) Unbeholfen
