Commerically-influenced debut single from the Pigeon Detectives' Stephen Street-produced second album which will appeal to their hardcore following

’This is an Emergency’ is the first single from the Pigeon Detectives' second album,‘Emergency’, which was recorded in Wales with Stephen Street. It starts off with hard hitting Interpol-like guitars and drums, but, as it moves on, it gets more commercial in a new indie way. I really like the drums and guitar pattern. Matt Bowman’s vocals, however, don't really do much for me, but it should appeal to the band's hardcore following.
