Liverpool's Marlowe has called it quits and singer Simon Bradshaw's new band is Zurich. With Josephine and Anj also on board, Zurich enter the world of synth pop. There are hints of retro-remember Liverpool gave the world Lori and The Chameleons aeons before many other Engish towns-and there's even a phat remix of 'Diamonds'. The original is my favourite version. The melody line sticks in your mind and I found myself humming the song when cycling. It could be the most original song on the Jo Whiley Show. If only ...
