intro
Andrew Twambley photographs Norwegian pop A-ha at a show on a tour in which they played all of their 1985 debut album 'Hunting High and Low' at the Leeds First Direct Arena.
Norwegian pop trio A-ha will always perhaps be best known for their two mid -80s international number one singles 'Take On Me' and 'The Sun Always Shines on TV' and their 1985 album 'Hunting High and Low', the album from which they were both taken. The group, which consists of Morten Harket (lead vocals, guitars), Magne Furuholmen – (keyboards, guitars, bass, backing vocals) and Pål Waaktaar-Savoy (guitars, drums, percussion, backing vocals), have since gone on have other hit singles including 'Manhattan Skyline', 'Crying in the Rain' and the James Bond theme 'the living Daylights'. On their current tour they have returned to their roots by playing 'Hunting High and Low'in its entirety. These photographs of A-ha were taken by Andrew Twambley at a show on the tour at the Leeds First Direct Arena on the 2nd November. Photos by Andrew Twambley www.twambley.com
