intro
Energetic latest single from 80's-influenced young Leicester-based band, the Screening
'You Look Much Better in the Dark' is really good. It had me riveted from its edgy start to its last notes. If this doesn't get Leicester band the Screening's young following up on the dance floor, then the world is sick. It is fast and full of energy and reminds me of the great work started by 80's revivalists the Departure, who sadly are no longer with us. It is a song to put on repeat and not to take out of the CD player until at least December when 'Through My Telescope', their next single, comes out. 'Evolution' is much slower with something of a new romantic 80's feel to it. It sounds like Adam and the Ants, updated and with new life breathed into them. Fabulous!
