intro
Pennyblackmusic phootgrapher takes photos of former Million Dead front man Frank Turner at a gig at the Soho Revue Bar in London
Former Million Dead front man Frank Turner released his debut solo EP 'Campfire Punkrock' on Xtra Mile Recordings last year, and then followed this with his long awaited solo album ‘Sleep Is For The Week’ in January. Turner has spent the last 18 months touring continously in the UK and across Europe, both as a solo act and also in playing support to the Automatic on a recent long UK tour. An enthusiastic performer, he has built up a devoted and ever-expanding fan base with his inspiring punk protest and folk/country sing-a-longs. These photographs were taken exclusively for Pennyblackmusic by Anna Gudaniec on the 2nd August at a gig at the Soho Revue Bar in London in which he played a guest slot at the launch party for 'The Projectionist', his Xtra Mate labelmates, A Silent Film's debut EP
