Magazine Review They may be Steve Albini adaptees, but Three Second Kiss are in fact a trio. They recorded 'Tastyville' in a most appropriate manner and place in Verona, Italy. 'Tastyville' is not exactly a Roman arena in its own right, yet by a miracle it combines the shores of the Adriatic and Pacific alike, as its chords pretty much all fall in the right places.
With hard-hitting precision evidence, and a keen ear for post-rawkus bereavement, Three Second Kiss have a thumping twang to their sound, which most importantly is way beyond well-established post-rock standards.
'Tastyville' digs in deep, deep into the big unknown black hole as it were. It manages to surface, floating on the merits of its distorted twang. There is indescript and peculiar guitar noise aplenty here.
