This summer sees the highly anticipated release of Mercury Prize nominee Nitin Sawhney's 2nd studio album on V2 records. Sawhney is undoubtdly one of the world's most sought after musicla talents, having carved his own cultural niche as a songwriter, composer, producer, and DJ. After the release of Nitin’s critically acclaimed 5th album ‘Prophesy’ we are pleased to announce the release of the DVD which chronicles Nitin’s journey around the globe to make the album. The main section of the DVD is split into two parts: 1. ‘Prophesy’ The Visual album – The songs from Prophesy set to film which was shot on location in varying parts of the world. 2. ‘Prophesy’ The talking album – As above but incorporating interviews with people who were inspirational to the making of Prophesy. Around The World – Footage shot at dawn of Nitin playing acoustic versions of tracks from the album – inc ‘Sunset’ in South Africa/ ‘Prophesy’ in Australia/ ‘Moonrise’ in South Africa.
