Lupine Howl release their debut album “The Carnivorous Lunar Activities of Lupine Howl”. The album was recorded between Massive Attack’s Christchurch Studios and their own studio in Bristol during autumn of last year, the album was self produced by Cook /Mooney. In 2000 the band released three singles over the course of the year each to critical acclaim and the live shows are something to experience, considered by many who saw them to be their gigs of the year. Frontman Sean Cook explains about the album - “Nine schizophrenic tracks which chart the life experiments and transgressions of the group over the past year. Musically the record encompasses a wide area including crushing loops and disturbed guitar frenzy, the surreal harmonica insertions and double bass penetrations, hallucinogenic grooves and space themes, bizarre organ lacerations and demonic Detroit riffs, abstract electronic and clinically studies of your most personal openings. Drenched in innumerable pleasures yet cold as a sexual liaison with Walt Disney’s cryogenically preserved head, this record is an erotic dance on the riffs of the listener of whom only a few will savour its bitter fruit with impunity”. The album is also available as a limited edition boxed CD with deluxe booklet. Ltd. to 2000. Tracklisting Vaporizer, Sniff The Glue, 125, Carnival, Lonely Roads, Sometimes, Planet X, This Condition, The Jam That Ate Itself

1..125
2..Tired
Lupine Howl release a new single ‘125’ through Beggars Banquet, the band’s first single since signing to Beggars in April this year. The song 125 is a fast, looped and punky offering, while the two other excellent tracks (the strung out soul of ‘Tired’ and the sheer atmospherics of ‘Swell’) showcase the diversity Lupine Howl are driving for. This is the third single the band have released, previous singles were ‘Vaporizer’ and ‘Bronzage’ which were released through their own label Vinyl Hiss at the start of this year. Lupine Howl have the desire for an eclectic sound, ranging from "blues and krautrock to late 60’s Atlantic Soul and country" says mainman Sean Cook . Tracks: "125", "Tired", "Swell" (CD Only)

1..Bronzage
2..Voodoo Raygun
3..Bronzage (General Midi Remix)
4..Bronzage (Alpha Remix)
Formed in 1999 out of the ashes of Spiritualized, Lupine Howl features Sean Cook, Mike Mooney and Damon Reece. Bronzage is the follow up to the successful Vapourizer, and is a huge track of dark, chemical psychedelia with a fantastically infectious chorus. The single also features Voodoo Raygun, a US road song and soundtrack for American Beauty. Remixes of Bronzage come from General Midi, frontrunners of the breakbeat scene, and a storming jungle mix by Alpha (from Massive Attack’s Melankolic label). The Face said Spiritualized’s psychedelic soul married to a Spencer Davis Backbeat.
